Fredrickson has spent many years in the practice of contemplative prayer.
Recently retired, he devotes his time to the contemplative life and to its service. He has
spent over 20 years in the ministry along with some 15 years in the private sector and academia. He holds a degree of Doctor of Ministry from Drew University; two graduate degrees in counseling, one from Fordham University and one from Iona College. He is coordinator for Contemplative Outreach in Brooklyn, NY. He has conducted workshops and retreats on contemplative prayer practice and is a spiritual director. He lives with his wife
in Brooklyn, NY. He has a married daughter.
